Founded in 1988, BIBU provide specialist insurance solutions to brokers and intermediaries, throughout mainland UK.
We have built a reputation for delivering wide policy covers, written in clear English and backed by great service from qualified and helpful staff. Specialising in farm and countryside related insurance, BIBU actively trades with clients throughout the whole of the UK through insurance intermediaries.

We are not a "call centre" operation - our focus is on building long term relationships with our brokers by consistently delivering a first class, personal service.
We understand that a fast efficient response is as important as providing the right cover at a competitive price when it comes to winning new business, so we will work closely with you to understand what we need to do by when, and then deliver. Every client matters to us, so we fight as hard to retain business as we do to win new customers. We are proud that many of our clients have chosen to stay with us for decades rather than years!
Claims
Our reputation in the market has been built over the years based on a fast, fair claims service.
Our claims staff are a key part of the team –all agricultural sector specialists who have the authority they need to make decisions. The team sits along side our underwriting and admin staff in Darlington.
We offer first class service standards:
- Response to new claims within 48 hours. We aim to have a loss adjuster on site same day for serious losses
- We respond to correspondence within 48 hours of receipt, and issue payment within 48 hours of receiving all required information.
